Emilienne Moni KombiPresident
I had the idea to establish an association when I was on holiday in Cameroon with my kids in 2016.
I was born there and lived in a small town with my parents and my siblings. We had a wonderful time. We were at the playgrounds and sports fields all day long.
Today a completely different picture presents itself: a poverty-stricken country, considerable shortcomings in the social infrastructure , and there are only few private institutions that could fill this gap. Many children live on the streets, come into contact with violence at an early age and are left alone just as many single mothers.
During our holidays we searched for activities and things to do, without success.
It is my deep wish to offer the children and adolescents and single mothers life and job perspectives through educational offers and learning or deepening social skills. For this purpose, it is necessary to create playgrounds and sports grounds, mother-child-facilities, libraries etc., preferrably within the framework of a social centre.
The children are our future – but without better perspectives we will see many of them fleeing in the future. With a small contribution I might be able to bring hope to some families.
